Now buy your car holster without full mounting kit
In some cases you don't even need the full mounting kit, you just need a holster that will mount to a mostly flat surface without deforming so that it still holds your firearm. Check out our updates to the Custom Holsters page, at the bottom, you now have an option to exclude the mounting kit. And don't worry we'll still include screws!
Custom Car Mountable Holsters - Mounting Kit Optional
Check back often for changes as we continue to improve the offering. Also don't forget, the current price is for remaining leather stock. The price will likely go up as we're down to about 20 holsters that we can make with the current supplies!
Concealed Handgun: Liability or Asset?
A certain percentage of any governed people must be armed, equally to their government. We maintain that right, we carry arms, we have those in our homes. When we decide to carry a concealed weapon, such as a concealed handgun, we do that for more immediate reasons, namely to protect our lives. In that regard, we would say that a concealed handgun is definitely an asset! It is the ultimate weapon, and carrying concealed can give you an enormous advantage in any hostile situation.
When we make that decision, we bare a certain burden. We are wholly responsible for that weapon, abiding by the law, and using the gun in such a way that it may save our lives, and at the same time keep ourselves out of jail. The law imposes a certain set of liabilities on our choice to carry.
So the answer is both! But just like in the scene in Kill Bill we have to feel one more than the other! So which one do you feel more? Liability? or Asset?
Console Box Car Mount Holster
A customer was kind enough to send in some photos of his console box mounted holster. This holster is mounted opposite of how we usually see them, so it is a left hand draw holster mounted in the console box. This mounting position, combined with the way the lid opens, keeps the gun very well hidden from passengers in the car, and also allows better usage of the console box. Items placed in the console don't travel over the firearm.

Glove Box Car Mount Holster
I always talk about how possible it is to mount our holsters in tight places, including tiny little glove boxes and center console boxes! Well, I don't have a car with a small enough glove box so we took a glove box off of a 1980s 944 Porsche. I used to own one of these cars and so I know how tiny the glove box really is, it doesn't hold much, that's for sure!
I would have loved to have one of these holsters mounted in my glove box back in the day check out how awesome this is! No flopping around, no moving around, you know when you open up that glove box that your pistol is going to be right there. Just reach out and draw!
This is a 1911 style pistol with a four inch barrel, seven round magazine. The fit is tight, but it works like a charm! There it is! Your perfect concealed carry pistol, sit down in the car, holster it in your glove box and you can drive around in comfort!

Glock 36 Car Mount Holster
Beautiful car mount holster for the Glock 36 is fresh off the press! We finished this holster and took a couple of pictures at the shop today. complete with mounting kit, to be mounted by the driver's right knee. Remember, you are responsible for abiding by the laws of your state. Your gun shouldn't be left in your mounted car holster while you're not there, and you may need to take measures to conceal your car holster either by throwing a cloth over it, or maybe mounting the holster inside your glove box, safe, or console box.

Concealed Carry on Campus
Drug free. Weapon free.
We all want our educational institutions to be free of any possible negativity. These institutions provide a launchpad for the next generation helping them carry our nation forward to thrive and lead the world. Many campuses across this country operate like a city within a city providing their own housing, food, health care, counseling, and police force. Everything you would find in a city can be found on campus.
So when it comes to the safety of these campus citizens, are we doing enough? Are we restricting too much their ability to protect themselves?
When it comes to the safety of each individual in this country we already realize that The Country, the state, the city, the campus, not even the county or neighborhood can be there to protect you all of the time. Just like the old saying goes, you can't please all of the people all of the time; nor can you protect all of the people all of the time. Thus, we maintain that individuals have the right to protect themselves, and we work hard to protect that right.
How does this differ in a campus, learning institution environment? What are we worried about causing us to restrict the presence of firearms on campuses? What about the restriction on carrying a firearm in your car while your car is on campus grounds?
