About Us
Who are you?
TexasCustomHolsters.com is a developing online community committed to helping upstanding citizens live their lives the way they see fit. We provide our opinions, reasons for the decisions we make, and an open forum for the discussion of some of life’s biggest issues.
What Products and Services do you offer?
We backup our story by putting it to practice. We looked everywhere for a safe car carry solution and couldn’t find one. We believe that if you are going to decide to carry a firearm in your vehicle that the firearm should truly be there for you, safely within reach. You shouldn’t be fumbling for it during the critical seconds when you’re really in need.
This mindset gave birth to a new type of holster bearing the brand Safe Car Carry. With one of these holsters securely mounted to your interior car panel, you’ll know that when it truly counts, you may make a natural motion, each out and draw your firearm just as if you were standing, relaxed, and drawing from your hip. The speed and accuracy with which you produce the firearm might be the very thing that saves your life.
We are constantly looking for innovative ways to help marry firearms and modern, every day life. We believe an armed America is a Free America, and there is simply no better alternative. In order for that to remain a reality, we must evolve the way that we look at, treat, handle, carry and use firearms every day.
Where are you located?
We are located in the Heart of Texas. Austin, Texas just west of downtown and have been in business for almost a year, and we’re already launching our first product line!
Really though, who are you?
We are a family owned and operated business, so we take on all the roles necessary and share responsibility. My name is Kevin Amerson; I am the site admin, and holster maker. My wife, Karin, also makes holsters and helps out with the banking, accounting, inventory and product information for the site. My father, Jerry, is our primary customer and mentor, giving us very much needed feedback on the product and the company as we go through the design variations.
