I took a quick video since we had the console out of the truck anyways, just for ease of working area. The console comes out with a few screws and carefully disconnect the electrical. The holster is mounted with three screws, washers and nuts that come with the holster in the mounting kit.

Austin Gun Show This Weekend!

We're back! Gun shows are back in Austin and we're excited to be setting up for it this weekend. It should be a really good show, so we hope to see you all out there this weekend. All of our holsters are custom made so we will primarily have an information booth and some holsters that you can pick up and touch.

One of the things we run into with selling such a unique product on the internet is that you don't really get a feel for the holster. Exactly how big it is, how does holster mount really work? stuff like that. We try to answer questions and show lots of pictures, but really, nothing replaces holding the holster in your own two hands! So come out and get a feel for the holster, and ask us your questions.

Solid as a rock definitely describes the mounting system, a rigid custom engineered wedge, coupled with a dampening pad, machine screws and lock nuts. We don't stop there though, solid as a rock also describes the feeling you get when your gun locks into place in the holster with a perfect fit. This perfect fit is only achieved by pressing each holster to the particular model gun it is meant to carry. In this way friction, and the subtle contours of the gun hold it in place like a glove, no other retention devices to get in your way.

We don't just say this, we do it. Most of our pictures on the site don't show the gun in the holster. We want to show you how well each of our holsters are made and why when we say your holster is made to fit your particular hand gun that you can believe it’s true. We decided to go ahead and post a few pictures of holsters made to exact fit, and to ensure that you know they are, we put the gun in the holster for the picture. We'll continue to post pictures including the handguns and work on showing the detail and the fit.

These pictures are of a Glock 19 and a Kimber 1911 and I’m sure you will agree that there is not another company making car holsters that can compare with the detail and fit of our products.
